Security at PeopleGrove

Our team works hard behind the scenes to keep your student and alumni data safe, secure, and private. We take this responsibility very seriously – like, SOC 2® seriously.

Keeping All Data Safe & Secure

PeopleGrove is a SOC 2® certified company. As verified by external auditors, we require secure connections for all users (HTTPS TLS 1.2) and encrypt all data at rest. We follow application security best practices. PeopleGrove hosts all data with the leading cloud
providers (Amazon and Google), all of which have secure SSAE 16 audited data centers. Unless by request, we exclusively host data in the United States. We also work with third-party security services and network scanning tools to reduce vulnerabilities and security threats to your data.

Your Privacy is Our Priority

When information is entered, we encrypt the transmission of that data using industry-standard encryption. We believe the best way to achieve security is to build all systems and processes with security in mind and to leverage all the modern tools and technology at our fingertips. For your assurance, we are happy to share a copy of our SOC 2® Type 1 report. Simply complete a non-disclosure agreement form by visiting

All Systems Go. See For Yourself.

PeopleGrove’s uptime rate is 99.999%. We know trust is earned, not just given. And we believe it starts with being transparent about our system’s status and performance. The PeopleGrove status page – shares our app and API availability at all times.

PeopleGrove has proactively addressed and mitigate data security risks with a commitment to SOC 2® certification.

SOC 2® affords our partner clients:

  1. A proactive cybersecurity practice.
  2. A brand that can be trusted with sensitive student and alumni data.
  3. Practices to minimize the threat of private information showing up on th dark web.
  4. A minimal security requirement when considering a SaaS provider.
